At Keegan's Caramels, we are committed to delivering our handcrafted confections in the best possible condition. Due to the perishable nature of our products, especially during warmer months, we have established the following shipping guidelines to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Warm Weather Shipping Advisory (May – September)

High Temperatures: During the months of May through September, elevated temperatures across many regions increase the risk of melting during transit.

Shipping Recommendations: We strongly recommend selecting expedited shipping options (e.g., Overnight or 2-Day Air) during this period to minimize transit time and reduce the risk of melting.

No Melt Guarantee: We offer a "No Melt Guarantee" for orders shipped via our recommended expedited methods. If your order arrives melted despite following our shipping recommendations, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence, and we will address the issue accordingly.
Shipping Methods and Processing

Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. During peak seasons or holidays, processing times may be extended.

Shipping Carriers: We primarily use USPS for deliveries. Carrier selection may vary based on destination, weather conditions, and shipping method chosen.

Shipping Days: To prevent packages from sitting in transit over weekends, especially during warm weather, we ship orders Monday through Thurs. Orders placed after 12 PM PST on Thursday may be held until the following Monday to ensure product quality.
Packaging Practices

Customer Responsibilities

Shipping Address: Please ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate and that someone will be available to receive the package upon delivery. We are not responsible for packages left unattended.
